Facilities

Library Facility:

SIST Library, located in the academic cum administrative building of the institute and is accessible to students during office hours and is extended to off hours as well during examination time. The vision of SIST library is to serve the students and faculty with information needed; contributing to their intellectual and academic development. The college has well equipped reading room with recommended books of both Indian and Foreign authors and has adopted open access system. It also houses a digital library wherein students can access to the National Digital Library and e-journals that offers a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic study. The books, journals, newspapers, magazines and all e-resources are available for use by the faculty and students of the institute.
 

Internships:

Students pursuing various B. Tech. degree programme are required to undergo compulsory internship in various organizations/industries to be eligible for degree in the respective disciplines. Internship not only helps fresh pass-outs in gaining professional know-how but it also benefits industries in fresh business perspectives. A minimum of 15 credits of Internship ,Entrepreneurial activities ,Project work ,Seminar and Inter / Intra Institutional Training. This policy is adopted by the institute to impart skills & hands on training to the students to make them industry ready.
